Teams:

At ASR we embrace the spirit of fair and honest competition that can be seen from the Olympics down to the youngest competitors in our JOAD program.  Archery is a fantastic sport to encourage sportsmanship and a competitive spirit both for teams and individuals.  At ASR we have many opportunities for archers to compete from leagues to competition focused teams and tournaments.

Crush:
Our youngest team focused on introducing competitive archery, tournaments, team building and character to archers from 8-12 years of age.  The Crush practices 2 times per week for 1 hour per practice.

Bullseyes:
Our intermediate team for archers 10 years and older desiring to improve personal archery skills but either not ready for hard core competitive team structure and requirements or desiring a more fun, relaxed atmosphere.  The Bulleyes practice 2 times per week for 1 hour per practice.

Dragons:
Our elite recurve archery team.  This team focuses on advanced archery skills with application to competitive environments such as indoor or outdoor tournaments across Colorado and the USA.  The Dragon is the team mascot symbolizing skill, strength, and dedication.

Velocity Raptors:
Our elite compound archery team.  This team of compound archers focuses on development of advanced archery skills and competing in indoor, outdoor, and 3D tournaments across Colorado and the USA.  The Velocity Raptor is a play on words of Velociraptor relating both the speed of compound bows while also signifying the predator instinct of a raptor, an inherent trait to our team always striving to be the best they can be as well as those with personal desires to hunt and understand the instincts of predators in the natural world.

Dragons and Raptors... Requirements:
Participation on the Dragons or the Raptors is by invitation only to archers showing the attitude, commitment and sportsmanship required of competitive archers.  These teams practice together 3 times per week for a minimum of 1.5 hours per practice.  Team members are required to maintain high standards in academics, sportsmanship, and community service and to shoot some tournaments.  Team members are encouraged to give back to new archers by becoming certified as junior coaches when old enough.

Knights:
The Knights are our most advanced team.  They have their process and are at the point where they are only making small tweaks to their form and process.  They are actively shooting tournaments on the local, national, and world level.  They shoot 3 times per week for 2.5 hours at a time and most have private lessons at least 1 time per week.

Silver Arrows:
Our ASR adult team for anyone over 18 participating in either competitive archery or just honing their personal archery skills. Understanding the scheduling challenges that adults (especially with families) may have to work around, team members practice with other teams or on their own schedule rather than have set practice times.

Adaptive Archers:
Our Adaptive Archery Team are represented by a wolf, representing the courage, tenacity, and a never-ending endurance of spirit while understanding that sometimes it takes a pack working together to succeed. Members of this team overcome physical challenges such as missing limbs, physical limitations, impaired vision or other challenges to become the best archers possible.

Threshold:
Our Military Archery Team meets every Tuesday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm and every Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and is for Active Duty, Retired and Veterans.  Special prices apply for both one time and 18 month membership fees.
